Grade calculator BTEC National diploma

This script will help you to work out your BTEC overall grade depending on the mentions you got throughout your first and second year of college. You can also use this tool to anticipate what mentions you need to achieve a certain grade. The units placed in the table below are part of the BTEC National Diploma For IT Practitioners, however this will work for any 18-unit BTEC National Diploma.
To use this tool, simply enter your mentions in the fields on your right. Here are the letters you can enter and what they represent:
P = Pass
M = Merit
D = Distinction

All the maths for this script have been taken off the EDEXEL and UCAS website. However, this tool should only be used to get a idea of your grade, and I cannot guarantee that the grade this gives you will be your final grade.
